Alright, everyone--I think I've found a work around to my problem. And if it's not a work around then I'm going to make it work anyway. I took a glance back at some older works and I've become inspired to rework them, and I'm going to exploit that to jump start my imagination. I always tend to get more pumped to work on the stuff I've set aside once I've already gotten in the mood to draw.

Additionally, I get really motivated to work on stuff for myself when I've got other things I should be doing, so hopefully keeping my freelancing gigs steady will help.

And last--but far from least--having access to a Cintique again is always a plus--it's hard to have fun drawing when you're struggling with an extremely buggy, nearly dead, rather tiny, five year old Graphire 3.

I've got characters, animation, and layouts that I want to work on, not counting work I'm doing for others.

If you won't come back to me willingly, Imagination, then I'm going to take you back by force!
